Winterfest 2012 was a great success! Hundreds of families came out to see the latest 2012 models from Monaco, Montana, Springdale and Roadtrek, enjoy family games, savor delicious chili, hot dogs and cookies.  We so appreciated everyone who joined us for this annual customer appreciation event! Our maintenance seminars were also a high point of the weekend. Scott Haan (Director of Parts & Service) & Duane Carlson (of Camping World) teamed up to put on a great informational seminar for all the RVers. They discussed RV roof maintenance, RV tires & brakes, and RV electrical systems. 

All videos will be posted on American RV YouTube Channel in the coming days where you can also find hundreds of video tours of our inventory as well as more RV tips & tricks.

We’ll be serving chili, hot dogs, cookies and ice cream to our visitors as well as a bonfire for roasting marshmallows. We will have games for the family and we’ll also be hosting maintenance seminars. There will be plenty of the latest RVs parked indoors at the seasons absolute best prices! A fun time for all!

American RV congratulates the band “Wayland” on the release of their new album today.  They were guests on 97.9 WGRD  this morning to kick off the release! 

      American RV Sales & Service has partnered with a local band with national recognition to help promote the ARV family and their music as they travel across the country in a motor home. The name of their group honors the city in own back yard Wayland, MI. Make sure to check out our  facebook photo album of the band and “Rudy”, the Coachmen Freelander Class C Motor Home that they’ll be traveling in for the next year.

Mrs. & Mrs. H. worked with John Monterusso to purchase their 2012 Monaco Knight 40PDQ Class A Diesel Motor Home from American RV in Grand Rapids, MI. 

“We can not say enough how well we were treated by John Monterruso and the rest of the people at American RV.  We learned more from John about RV’s in 15 minutes than from an entire day’s worth of time spent at another dealer.  It was nice to have someone more worried about helping you understand the product he was selling, than trying to push a quick sale.  After having our learning experience with the folks at American RV, it was easy to make the decision to go back there to purchase our first RV.  

The folks that helped get our RV ready to go, were also very helpful.  We decided to install a satellite before taking the RV home. They quickly figured out what we needed, had it in stock, and installed it while we waited.  We were very pleased with the quickness and quality of the installation.

We are already planning our first trip for mid December to Houston.  Can’t wait to take to the road.

I would not change a thing about our experience with American RV.  We are confident we made the right choice in our dealer.  We have many dealers much closer, with honestly more RV’s on the lot.  But if you want to be treated like a person instead of a number, American RV is the place.  We also feel confident that when our RV needs service, we will be treated just as well.
