Over the past few weeks, we have been hearing the media talk about car loans and how people with good credit are being turned away. Here is an excerpt from an article in the Detroit Free Press on 10/9/08:

”While the sharpest drop was in sub-prime auto loans, borrowers with good and great credit also are being approved less often and asked to contribute larger down payments toward new-vehicle purchases.”

American RV has partnered with Family Christian Stores Foundation, The James Fund, as a major sponsor in a fundraiser event they are having September 13th, 2008.

They are having their first ever Motorcycle Run - called “Cruising for Kids” on September 13, 2008 at Hot Rod Harley-Davidson in Muskegon, MI. Money raised through this event will be used to assist orphans and widows in distress.

One of the major fund raising aspects of this event is the raffle of a 2008 Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe Motorcycle (est value $20,500) . It is a beautiful bike, which has been on display here at American RV.

Tickets are $20 each and the goal is to sell 3000 of these. The drawing will be held on Saturday, September 13th at 3:00 PM at Hot Rod Harley-Davidson, 149 Shoreline Drive, Muskegon, MI 49440. (You don’t have to be present to win)
