I wanted to write to you in regards to our new 2009 Arctic Fox 1140. I have owned numerous trailers from small pop-ups to large toyhaulers. I have done business with many dealers and even worked with them, but I have never felt more comfortable and at ease then I did with Matt Olds. I was never pressured by him, he was always polite and professional and answered all of our questions. We ended up choosing the Arctic Fox 1140 because of it’s quality and comfort.

When we took delivery of the truck camper, Ken took the time to go through the RV and how to work everything. You have assembled an awesome crew. Please thank Chad, Matt, Kevin, Ken, Doug and the ladies in Camping World that helped with with my new purchase.

I also want to thank you for taking the time out of your day to talk to me. You made a point to get to know my wife and I. I have NEVER has a business owner take that kind of time to talk to me about many different things. You don’t see customer service like that anymore.

The Arctic Fox 992 is a 10’ 2” aluminum framed hard-side camper with a full-wall dinette slide, rear-kitchen, and large mid dry-bath layout. The 992 is constructed using Northwood’s fully laminated aluminum frame and fiberglass exterior sidewalls.

The exterior dimensions of the Arctic Fox 992 are 17’ 10” overall length, 102” overall height (112” with A/C), and 96.5” overall width. The interior height is 79”.

The 992 tank capacities are 47 gallons fresh (with water heater), 29 gallons grey, and 37 gallons black. The 992 features two seven-gallon LP tanks.

Standard features include a two-way double-door refrigerator, three-burner range with 22” oven, DSI gas electric water heater, and four-way remote power jacks.

Available exterior options include diamond plate kick panel, side-box awning, full-wall slide-out awning, swing-out brackets for dually trucks, Add-A-Step, and a LP bar-b-que. Available window options include thermal pane windows, storm windows, and cab-over window.

Other options include a 50 or 100-watt solar panel with controller, combo satellite dish, auto scan satellite dish, 2.5 Onan generator, 11K BTU air conditioner, three-way double-door refrigerator, LCD flat screen TV, DVD player, overhead bunk in dinette, and a full-wall wardrobe.

Northwood is reporting the dry weight of the Arctic Fox 992 at 3,830 pounds. The MSRP on the 992 has yet to be announced.

In December, we traveled from Missouri to Grand Rapids, Michigan for a good – no, make that a GREAT – deal an ‘09 Arctic Fox 990. It was well worth the trip and my significant other and I agreed that never before had either of us been treated so well when making a major purchase. They patiently addressed all our concerns, answered all of our questions, and even made labels for everything to help us remember what controlled what.
