2011 American RV Summer Vacation Photo Contest

Grab the camera and pack-up the family and your RV!  It’s time for The 2011 American RV Summer Vacation Photo Contest, for American RV customers.  You have the chance to snap your way to a grand prize of a $100 Camping World gift card, 2nd prize is a $75 Camping World gift card and 3rd prize is a $50 Camping World gift card.Entries are due by Friday, August 26, 2011.

The winning photo will be the one that best represents the relaxing, fun and family-friendly RV lifestyle and includes an RV purchased from American RV in the photo.

Your photo could be included in a collection of American RV customers’ top photos that will be displayed at the dealership as well as placed in a photo gallery online

How to enter?
Send a copy of your favorite photo by Friday, August 26, 2011. It must be a previously unpublished photo taken during 2011 and includes your RV purchased from American RV. Be sure to include the photographer’s name and phone number.  Include your name, phone number and address along with a brief description of where this photo was taken. Include any details that make this photo special.

By mail: Photos cannot be returned American RV Summer Vacation Photo Contest, 201 76th St SW, Grand Rapids, MI 49548. If you are selected as a finalist, you will be contacted via telephone.

Winners of the Great American RV Summer Vacation Photo Contest were announced today. Customers were asked to submit photos that best represent the family-friendly RV lifestyle with their RV, purchased from American RV, in the picture.

American RV would like to thank all of our customers that submitted photos for the contest. It was great getting to see some of the ways you have fun using your RV’s.

And the winners are:
The 1st place $100 Camping World gift card prize was awarded to the Tim DeWitt family from Hudsonville, MI. The photo, taken during August at their Ludington State Park, Ludington, MI, campsite, shows Tim grilling steaks as son Kellan and daughter Abrianna look on while reclining next to their Sprinter travel trailer. The 2nd place $75 Camping World gift card prize was awarded to Dave and Julie Christiansen from Charlevoix, MI. Their winning photo shows them at Wilderness State Park in Mackinaw, MI, in June, enjoying their Roadtrek motor home and a couple of libations. Click Here to see the 2nd place photo.

The 3rd place $50 Camping World gift card prize was awarded to the Michael Despres family from Rockford, MI. Their winning photo is a collage of photos taken on their summer trip with their Terra motor home to Arches National Park, Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, Grand Canyon, Petrified Forest and the St. Louis Arch. Computer-savvy photographers can e-mail their photos.  Those who prefer still can send them in via regular mail. Entries are due by 3 p.m. Thursday, August 26, 2010.

Judges – American RV staff – will look for something that best represents the family-friendly RV lifestyle with your RV, purchased from American RV, in the picture.

Send your photos, along with a brief description of what is happening in the photo and where it was taken, and you could win!

It must be a previously unpublished photo taken during summer 2010 and includes your RV purchased from American RV.  Be sure to include the photographer’s name and phone number. Also, include the first and last names of people in the picture. Include your name, phone number and address and a brief description of where this photo was taken. Include any details that make this photo special.

Please send no more than two photos per entrant.
