Roadtrek “handles very well in all conditions”

The following was sent to Robert Wensel from a very satisfied Roadtrek 210 Popular customer:

“It was nice to hear from you and yes I still have and love my Roadtrek. The kids are doing well and enjoying more experiences as the Roadtrek allows us to go and do things we were unable to before. I drive it year-round and it handles very well in all conditions. Thank you so much again for this RV sale. I’m hoping to keep it going for several more years and then will be in touch to look for another good condition older model to meet our needs. Hope you are having a good winter.

Sincerely, Susan”

American RV gets a 5 star rating

Thomas recently purchased a Roadtrek Class B motor home from American RV. He rated his service with 5 stars and said “Everybody involved has been a pleasure to work with!”

Thank you for your comments Thomas, we appreciate your business.

“In all my 69 years have never been treated better by any sales person.”

Daniel from Maine wrote to tell us about his experience with American RV’s Robert Wensel.

“I just wanted to take the time and tell you about one of the sales staff you have.  Robert Wensel without a doubt in all my 69 years have never been treated better by any sales person.  He is honest and straight forward with information and very helpful.  Even if I don’t buy from him right now, I have very good feelings about buying from your company and will spread the word.”

Thank you Daniel! We appreciate your feedback and look forward to working with you in the future.

Another happy RV customer

This is a letter sent to American RV by Brian and Karla Glowiak. Thanks Robert Wensel for your great customer service!

Dear American RV Team,

Thank you for the superior customer service!

Everyone from your team worked hard to make sure we were satisfied with our new camper and understood the mechanics.

On the maiden voyage, we were relaxing outside our new camper when a photographer approached and asked to take our photo for the “Gazette,” the local newspaper in Colorado Springs, CO. We thought you would enjoy a copy of the photograph.

During our trip inquiries about our new camper were frequent and we proudly showed it off. Thanks again!

Sincerely,

Brian and Karla Glowiak

What our customers are saying

Our experience with American RV began when we decided a cross country trip with a RV would be something we would like to do next year, (2011. We bought a Chevy duramax truck and started looking for the perfect 5th wheel camper.  We headed for Grand Rapids because there were so many dealers in the area we thought there would be lots of choices.  Being novices at camping we asked friends what they would look for if purchasing a new or used RV.  We got some great feedback from seasoned campers and off we went armed with all the information from our friends and the Internet.  We stopped at American RV and met Robert Wensel. He showed us a couple used units and a couple new units he thought would meet our needs.  We really liked the Keystone Copper Canyon layout as it had everything we were looking for. However, we had just started our search and the price of a new unit was slightly over the budget we set for ourselves.  We continued our search and found a used Gulf Stream unit with a similar layout to the Copper Canyon.  The price seemed reasonable and the unit was in great condition, so after looking at lots of other dealers we went home to think about what we had seen.  By the end of the week we had decided to buy the Gulf Stream and were about to leave for Grand Rapids when I got an e-mail from Robert asking us to come take another look at the Copper Canyon he said would be worth the trip.  We debated and then decided it couldn’t hurt to look again since we were headed that way anyway.  Robert and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful when we told them we loved the unit but it just wasn’t in our budget since we needed a hitch too.  They asked us if we would buy if the price was right and we said sure.  They came to us with a price very close to the price of the used Gulf Stream, with more features and brand new.  They had a used hitch that would fit our needs at a reasonable price and we were sold.  There was no pressure, no games, no discrediting the other dealer’s product and we were impressed by how great we were treated.

When we picked up our unit we got great treatment. They even gave us a vehicle to go to lunch while they prepped our unit.  We have told our friends about our buying experience and would certainly suggest American RV to anyone looking for a class dealership.

Another Happy Roadtrek Customer

Hi Robert,
As you know, Pam and I purchased a Roadtrek 210 Popular from you back in October of last year. The weather turned cold before we had an opportunity to use it. Our “maiden voyage” was in January when we took a 6 week trip traveling 7400 miles out West without having any opportunity to become familiar with our new RV. When you make a major purchase such as this, there is always that thought, “Did we make the right decision”? There is no doubt that we made the right choice. We have never had an RV before and this camping stuff was all new to us. I was concerned if I really knew what I was doing, etc. only to find out that I didn’t. I ended up calling the Service Department at American RV several times while on our trip and talked to Kirk. Each time he was extremely patient with me and extremely helpful. He made sure that I was comfortable in calling him again if I had any questions. I couldn’t have been more pleased with Kirk and your Service Department. Another concern was with the amount of storage in our Roadtrek for an extended trip like that. (We never seem to leave anything behind, if you know what I mean!!) We had plenty of storage room with extra to spare. Our Roadtrek handled remarkably well. We were able to drive into downtown areas of major cities and see sights that we wouldn’t have been able to see with a larger RV. All in all, we are delighted with our new Roadtrek and American RV, had a wonderful time on our trip, and are looking forward to our next adventure! Thanks for everything!
