I chose the Winnebago 2106DS because Robert was a hands off no pressure salesman. I ordered a new product and the price was better than any of the other competitors. I plan on using it for MTB training and races around the midwest. No pressure sales, great pricing, ease of contact with sales and service. - Chris & Cork
With a small family, we were looking for a small RV with a Murphy Bed for extra room during the day. Ian Baker did a wonderful job showing us the Sonic 220VBH. We love it! The staff at American RV has been fantastic. From the person completing our financing paperwork to the service person who gave me my initial orientation. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful. - Mike & Lori
We had been looking around at many RV lots. The people at yours were pleasant and not pushy. Also was interested in a keystone brand and you had the 1 we were very interested in. Also, your prices were very good to work with our budget. All staff was very pleasant and helpful in our purchasing. To Molly in the sales department to Scott in financing and Josh in our walk thru and John in services. - Linda
We plan on taking our growing family (grandchildren) on camping trips with us every summer, we needed a bunkhouse type RV. Great trailer, we are extremely happy with the quality and looks of this unit! The purchase was made over the phone once we made our decision. No issues, smooth transaction and America RV was very helpful with delivery. - Matt & Christine
We have tented for 20+ years and with the kids now grown, we decided to upgrade and possibly do more camping with friends. The sonic met most of our needs and we like the size of it. DJ was friendly and could answer all of our questions, worked with us to get into the RV we wanted. He also set up the time to pick it up and have the brake system installed. - Timothy & Kimberly
My wife and I were looking to upgrade to a newer more spacious camper because we have 4 children and also like to invite others. We found a perfect camper for our family for us to make many memories with. DJ was outstanding and I've even come in just to ask him questions about things and he helped me out in that aspect as well. The walk through after purchase to make sure I know how to use everything was very helpful as well. We look forward to being on the beach and waking up to the sound of water as much as possible. The staff at American RV are very knowledgeable. I'd definitely recommend. Thank you. - Erich
We are planning to be Full Time by the end of 2017. Montana and Solitude were the only 5th Wheels considered. Montana was a better value overall. Molly was WONDERFUL. So many of the other dealers we worked with were like dealing with used car salesmen. Not so with Molly, I asked a question, she gave an answer. I needed help, she reached out to experts at the dealership. The price was competitive but the experience was the most impactful part. I was impressed when I showed up at the dealer and discovered that Molly and Christine were out of the office. ARV did not miss a beat. Cody did the demo and Scott handled the finance/paperwork and I was in and out in less than two hours. That included shopping at the Camping World store. - James
DJ Hekstra, Christine Miles and everyone treated us very well! They all made the purchasing and delivery flow seamlessly and were in contact with us via E-Mail and phone during the entire process. We just wish you weren't so far from where we lived! We've been RVers for the past 30+ yrs starting out in a tent, then tent trailer, two different hard side trailers and then graduating to our most recent purchase of a new Class A coach from American RV. This recent purchase of the 2016 Monaco Diplomat 43SG diesel pusher is our second Class A coach. Three years ago we purchased our first Class A motorhome which was a gas engine. While it did well for us there were things I wasn't quite as happy with when traveling out in the mountains as well as the fit and finish of the coach. It was a great coach but just didn't have everything I wanted in a motorhome long term. While on a three-week vacation last fall, we started making a list of items we needed/wanted in the next coach. My wife was very particular about the floor plan for our new coach as was I with the fit/finish as well as the type of power plant and mechanics of the coach. After looking at quite a few different manufacturers and models over the past three-plus months, we felt we finally found a coach we thought would fit all our needs with the Monaco Diplomat 43SG. This then caused us to start looking for dealers near us who carried the Monaco line. We found American RV in Grand Rapids, MI had both the Monaco line as well as the make and model we were searching for. After corresponding with DJ Hekstra, we decided to drive the 4-1/2 hrs to the dealership to check out the coach, test drive it and see if we could work out a price which was acceptable to us. Fortunately, we were very pleased with the coach and the deal DJ was able to get for both our new coach as well as for our trade. After spending the better part of the afternoon we had a signed purchase agreement. There were a few items which needed to be addressed by the service department so we left and returned a week later to take delivery of the coach. The service department did a great job walking us through the coach going over all the items we needed to know about in the new motorhome so we would be comfortable with it after we drove off the lot. They moved a couple of items to the new coach from our previous coach as well as helped make sure our toad mated up to the new coach properly and made sure the satellite dish was configured properly for connecting to our satellite TV provider. - Jeff.
My husband Rick and I purchased a 2013 Roadtrek from American RV several weeks ago, and we couldn't be happier. I don't think we've stopped smiling yet! This has been Rick's lifelong dream, and since I retired in June, I too have been dreaming about it. We started watching Ian's YouTube videos to learn about the products. We watched other videos, but always came back to Ian as the expert. Our next step involved Jim Snyder during our first tentative visits to American RV. He was patient and knowledgeable as we went from travel trailer....to Class C....to Class B. Jim helped us narrow down what we wanted in a recreational vehicle. The summer came and went. Since Jim only works in the summers, Robert Wensel took over as our sales associate. Robert made us feel as though we were his only customers and was always available with answers to our questions. He called when new products came in and spent many hours with us as we weighed our options. Robert had us sit down with Christine Miles, who helped guide us through our financing options with skill and humor. At one point when I was having a very difficult time making a decision between three vehicles, I apologized for taking so much of their time. Robert answered with "Take your time. Don't worry, we're family here!" That's how my husband and I felt at American RV.....like part of the family. Every single person we came into contact with had a smile for us and would answer any question we had.The day we picked up our 190 Popular Dave H. walked us through the vehicle and spent as much time as we needed teaching us about our new Roadtrek. Jackie at Camping World helped us with some "must haves" and answered even more questions. When we drove off that evening we were confident that we had made the perfect choice for us. We were also confident that we had a complete support system with American RV. Thank you so much Mr. Neff for an amazing experience with such a caring staff, and thank you for the opportunity to make our traveling dreams come true. - Sandi & Rick.
Very Happy with our American RV buying experience and the zero prep fees associated with the purchase. I Wanted a smaller towable RV which supported two people vs. a family, and the Winnie Drop was perfect! - Robert.
